The long awaited beach improvements for Playa Paraiso finally began on Monday, (5th November) when tipper trucks filled with sand began arriving, for the first stage of widening part of the beach. Back in the spring rocks were cleared from the waterline and a fence errected, to deter traffic from the area, ready for the work to begin after the tourist season finished. The local residents are hoping that at last the promised promenade may become a reality.
